Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the crowded West Bay Beach.  Spend a  day on one of Roatan's best kept secret spots, the secluded Pigeon Cays.

Pigeon Cay is located off the South Eastern End of the Island, parallel to the Island of Barbaretta in the middle of the ocean per se. It is surrounded by shades of turquoise water and fringing reef. Reef patches are scattered between the Island of Barbareta and Pigeon Cays.  Snorkeling at Pigeon Cays is unlike any other area on Roatan, the visibility is amazing, on most days the visibility from above and below the surface is as clear as crystal. The Island of Guanaja is usually visible and is only a 15 minute boat ride away. There is a sandbar that is usually out of the water on days when the tide is low. The Cays are very small and have suffered erosion during the past year, but the beach is still present and  snorkeling is what most visit the Cays for as well as the seclusion and unique experience on Roatan compared to the typical tourist trap areas, although the secret has been getting out and on calm days a few boats make their ways to the Cays.

This tour gives you the complete east end experience, taking you through the towns of Oak Ridge all the way to Port Royal as well as St. Helene, the last community on the east end of the Island, which can only be reached by a boat. The town of Helene offers an authentic feel of Island living, something that is very absent from Roatan currently. On this tour you will be able to see the beautiful Mangrove Canal that separates Helene from the main Island of Roatan and also get a glimpse of the north side of the Island as well as Morat and Barbaretta and swim at several secluded beaches, maybe even head south for a quick stop at Camp Bay Beach, depending on time and weather. Either route you take, the water is beautiful on a bright sunny day and just makes you want to jump in for a swim. You will enjoy snorkeling, it is spectacular, you will see a variety of fish and different types of coral. Nurse Sharks are often spotted at Pigeon Cay as well as Eagle Rays and sometimes pods of Dolphins are out in the open water swimming by.
