Roatan Snorkeling Tours acts only as an agent and holds no responsibility for the operators or the tours advertised within the Shore Excursion section of this website. If you experience any issues with the quality of your activity, please address them immediately with your activity operator.  If you feel you deserve a partial or full refund it is imperative you make this known to the activity operator on the day of your excursion.

Roatan Snorkeling Tours is the operator of the Snorkeling Excursion section of this website and requires for all participants to carefully read the release waiver before booking a Snorkeling Excursion. All participants must sign the release waiver on the day of the Snorkel Excursion offered by Roatan Snorkeling Tours. Round trip transportation is provided for all Shore Excursions for the Port of Mahogany Bay and Town Center at Coxen Hole. Bilingual guides and air conditioned vehicles.

All participants that require special assistance for Shore Excursions such as disability and mobility requirements or any other assistance, please inform us when filling out the booking form or send as an email at info@roatansnorkelingtours.com

Tour duration is entirely up to the guest, however for cruise passengers, there is a 2.5 hour departure time prior to the ships departure to complete your activity and return to your Cruise Port Terminal. We guarantee an early return to ship for all our Shore Excursions guests.

Credit Cards are accepted at most businesses, it is highly recommended to bring cash for the smaller attractions, businesses.

Children over the age of 11 are charged as an adult. Children ages 3-11 are charged the child rate. Children 2 and under are charged as an infant. Infants are not charged transportation fees and therefore are required to be held by a parent. If you would like to use a car seat you will need to inform us in advanced and pay the child rate to use the car seat.

All tours require a minimum of 2 people per group . If you are a solo traveler and would like to reserve an excursion that is shared with others, we will notify you if others have booked the same excursion, however if we do not find others to share an excursion with you and you would like to book your excursion, there will be an additional fee of $30.00 for a private driver/guide for you.

Billing Policy

All bookings require payment within 48 hours or the date issued on your invoice sent to your email.

Payments are processed via PayPal.

We offer two options for completing payment for your tour:

  1. Reservation deposit fee of $40 online payment via PayPal, the remaining balance to be paid in cash before beginning your excursion, activity or tour to your guide. Please print your receipt or have a screenshot on your phone to present it to your tour guide.

  2. Complete your payment online once an invoice has been sent to you via PayPal from Roatan Snorkeling Tours.

 

All bookings made online will be emailed a confirmation to the email provided within 24 hours after being submitted. An email is sent back to the email you provided with an invoice and payment option that requires payment within 48 hours or the date specified on it. After you submit your payment a  final booking and payment confirmation email is sent back to you.  This confirmation will contain all the details concerning your activities, including meeting location, map, meeting time, amount of payment made, balanced due other instructions.  You are not required to bring this final email confirmation with you on the day of your excursion, however you are welcome to print it or have a screenshot of your receipt. Your guide will have a copy of your receipt as well. Please check your spam folders always for emails or contact us if you do not receive your final email confirmation or any feedback from us.

Your credit card statement  will display ROATANSNORK as the company authorized to bill your credit card.

All remaining balances paid on the day of the excursion are to be paid in Cash. Credit Cards are not accpeted.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cruise Ship Itinerary Changes:  if your cruise ship does not dock at any of the ports in Roatan or if your cruise ship changes itinerary, you will receive a refund.

Inclement Weather:  if your activity operator cancels your excursion due to bad weather conditions, you will be issued a refund. Inclement weather excludes light rain and overcast weather. 

No Shows / Late Shows:  we require all our guest to be punctual, we make no exceptions for late shows or no shows. The meeting time is always 90 minutes after your ships scheduled arrival time. If your ship arrived later than it's original schedule, we will be aware of the change for the original arrival time, therefore the wait time gets pushed down to the actual arrival time of your ship. If you are running late and have access to the internet, please send us a message via whatsapp or email and we will gladly wait for you, otherwise if we don't hear from you, we will assume you have decided to cancel. No refund will be given for no shows or late shows.

 

Unsatisfactory Shore Excursion: if you experience any issues with the quality of your activity, please address them immediately with your activity or tour operator.  If you feel you deserve a partial or full refund it is imperative you make this known to the activity operator on the day of the activity while at the location of the activity. We are not responsible for the activity operators for the Shore Excursions.

Adjusting your reservation: please email us if you wish to change your excursion for another. We will review your request and try to be as flexible as possible.

Refunds via PayPal: refunds will reflect approximately a 5% deduction in transaction fees charge by PayPal.
